Interzone Athletics

Hey,
Yesterday me and seven other people went to Newtown and entered into the Interzone Athletics and it was wet. I entered into  the relay and we came last be quite a bit, and then I entered into the 100m short sprint and I came second to last in the second  heat and then the rest of the time I was in the stand freezing. Then at about 12 I went back to school and mucked around.

My future Job

Hey,
When I leave collage the job I would like to have is one that pays well. To be honest I have know idea what I want to be. Some jobs I would like to be is:

• Builder
• Architect
• Engineer
• Electronic Engineer

 If I want to be one of these jobs at collage the subjects I would need to take is science and maths

Holiday Fun

Hey,
The most fun thing I did during the holidays would have to be going to the movies with my older brother Zac. We went to go see Grown ups 2. Grown ups 2 was the squeal to the first one and it was really funny we bought food and drinks to go with it.

Spring fair
Sunday 20th of October was our spring fair and believe me it was awesome I spent over $30 and it was the best $30 I have ever spent. The fair included a whole bunch of food and games. I hanged out with my friends and we played a lot of games and ate a lot of lollies.

Electives

hey,
At the moment at school we do electives we this every Friday, we do this for two terms one for each term. I do sport and technology they are both great but next term i would rather do something else  but this time it a been fun and I hope we can keep on doing it 

TECH

Hey,
Tech has been my favorite thing on Mondays, the Monday that has just passed was the last lesson in the cooking class so next week we are going into Movie making.

The skills that I have learnt this year are things sawing and how to cook more than just spaghetti I have also learnt how to make a wooden spoon to help me with my cooking. I have to say that my favorite class in tech so far has to be cooking because the food you make is so nice .

MEDIEVAL TIMES

 Hi ya,
So far in medieval times I have learnt the different ranks inside the kingdom. I have also learnt about the life of the Merchants and the family of them and how the wife goes and gets their dinner and stuff while the husband and aquatints work in the shop. The aquatints is a boy who works for the shop keeper, the shop keeper is the boss of him so if the boy brakes something he gets punished.

In the future I would enjoy learning about the kings when the go fight and what happens if the get killed in battle. I would also like to learn about the  of peasants and who bad their like really is.

Today in art I started and finished a painting which I called "this is not a pipe."{see more detail below}
Well this piece of art wasn't as hard as the first painting but just as fun. I think I still need to get better at mu blending thou. I really enjoyed doing these two paintings an I hop I can do some more very soon.

At the moment in art we are drawing a piece of famous art called 'this is not a pipe' by margrette ? i have finished my final copy and it looks superb. Before we did our final copy we had to do tones of practice and once I finally got it perfect I did my good copy. this piece of art was hard and next time I think I need to work on my shading

My Basic Facts

Hey Guys,
At the moment we are focusing on our basic facts in maths. I think I'm doing really well but I need to focus on my time so that means I need to work on everything else But I really enjoy doing my basic facts

On Wednesday we took a visit to St Bridgids school in Johnsonville. We got put into four groups and I was in St Peters each group had an activity to do. Our groups activity was to a technology challange it was a lot of fun.

I made heaps of new friends some of I had played cricket against. It was not what I thought it to be because I thought that everybody would be very shy and not talk to eachother. I would like to go again next year but sadly we go every second year.

On Wedenday the 21st of May 2013 the intermidate school is visting St Bridgets for Catholic Schools Day.
I am hoping that I will find some new friends that I might b going to college with.I think the day will go well if everybody gets on and have fun.

Today the ASB guy came into our classroom today to talk to us about saving and spending money and . All you have to do is to to follow three easy steps one is not to go to the shopping mall and see something you like and buy it. The second step is to sometimes reward reward yourself  for all the hard work you do in saving money. The third and final step is to not get put off if you see something something else in a shop force yourself to just walk bye.

Stats

Hello World,
We have just completed our Stats unit in maths. I improved by 40%. I learnt a lot of new things like what mean, median, mode, and range are. Learning those new things make a lot of difference when it comes to tests. I think I need to work on trying to remember mean, median, mode, and range. The things that helped me improve were good listening, hard work and a lot of help from my friends.

WOW!! I have just been doing EOTC week and man it was really fun. We (year 7's)  spent the week doing all these awesome things

Walking up Mountains, Going to Nairnville, Film Festival, Capital Connections and swimming.
It was so much fun we explored Wellington City Learnt some new sports man you should of been there!

I think that I am doing alright in my comic book drawings. I have improved tones and I think my good copy is going to be the best drawing I have ever done. I have learn't new Skills and all sorts of differrent techniques and the drawings are lots of fun.
